On a bustling Saturday, approximately 22,000 visitors flocked to various city offices to get a first-hand look at how the Munich City Administration operates. This annual event offers a treasure trove of opportunities—from gathering essential tips to exploring areas normally off-limits.
Meet and Greet with Munich’s Mayor
One highlight of the event was the chance to step inside the office of Munich’s Mayor, Dieter Reiter. Around 400 curious citizens seized the opportunity to engage with the Mayor, probing into city secrets and discussing pressing urban issues such as housing, mobility, and fostering societal cohesion. Mayor Reiter emphasized the importance of a positive community spirit amidst the challenges faced by a growing metropolis.
