📚 ILfest 2025 – Italian Books & Stories in Munich

📌 What is ILfest?
From May 9 to 11, 2025, Munich will host ILfest, the only Italian literature festival in Germany. The event brings together writers, translators, and book lovers. Most talks and readings are in both Italian and German.

The 2025 theme is “How Do We Tell History?” It explores how stories and books help us understand the past. As a result, you’ll hear different voices and personal experiences that shaped Europe.

For example, you may attend a reading by Stefania Auci, who wrote The Florios of Sicily, or a talk by Paolo Giordano, author of The Solitude of Prime Numbers.
