🎵 What Is the Lange Nacht der Musik?
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the city of Munich becomes a massive live concert. The Long Night of Music (Lange Nacht der Musik) features more than 400 performances in over 90 venues all around the city. From classical quartets to electronic DJ sets, this event offers something for every taste.
More than just a music festival, it’s a citywide celebration. Concerts, dance shows, art installations, and even musical tram rides are all part of the experience. It’s one of Munich’s most popular cultural nights—and a perfect way to discover new venues and meet new people.
📍 Where Does It Happen?
The event is spread across the city, with most venues located in:
Altstadt-Lehel (Old Town)
Maxvorstadt (University District)
Glockenbachviertel (Nightlife District)
There’s no single main stage. Instead, visitors walk (or ride the music shuttle buses) from place to place, experiencing Munich’s urban culture from a new perspective.
