Experience the Opening with VIP Seats
The lucky winners will get to attend the opening ceremony of the Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 20th, from 11 AM to 2 PM. As honored guests, you’ll be seated in the Ratsboxe at the Schottenhamel Festhalle, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Maß beer and a hearty Hendl (roast chicken) as part of the festivities.
How to Enter the Draw
To participate in this exciting raffle, simply pick up an entry card at the City Information Center in the Town Hall at Marienplatz, starting Thursday, May 15th. Fill out the card completely and clearly, then drop it into the raffle box conveniently located at the same venue. Make sure to submit your entry by Thursday, June 12th, by 6 PM.
Eligibility and Winner Announcement
Note that participation is open to individuals aged 18 and above who reside in Munich. The thrilling draw for the winners will be held on Sunday, June 15th, at 3 PM on the Marienplatz stage, hosted by Dr. Christian Scharpf, Munich’s Chief of Oktoberfest. Adding a touch of historic flair, royal figures Ludwig I and Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen will join the draw under the city birthday theme “Glanz, Gloria und Genuss.” Winners will be notified via mail.

The City Information Center in the Town Hall is open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to 4 PM. Make sure to drop by and secure your chance to be part of the magical Oktoberfest 2025 opening ceremony!
